06 aftermarket exaust systems

i have a bullydog triple dog downloader and plan on adding an aftermarke intake. im looking for an exaust system but i dont know what will be the best one for me. i want a good sound and performance but i dont want the loud drone when out on the road above 55 mph. run my truck unloaded most of the time but do pull some heavy loads occasionally. I read an artical about an after turbo system that came with a high flow cat and muffler but i cant remember what brand. I thought it was magnaflow but i didnt see it one their website. any help on what system to get would be greatly appreciated. thanks very much

I read the article you are talking about, but I called magnaflow and they do not have a high flow cat. I have a 5" magnaflow turboback and my installer put a 5" pipe through the cat, it is loud and drones. I also think it added a bit of vibration. I would like the opinions of others on the best non droning system.

If you don't want drone you are gonna need a muffler. Try a donaldson or mbrp. RSSanders do you have gauges yet... . that would be my next step. I would try a mbrp... . I have the 5in. straight thru turbo back. I know this isn't what you are looking for but I have had several different mbrp systems and they are of great quality... . also the price is hard to beat. I think either a 5in or 4in turbo back with there high flow muffler would be what you would be after. Another option... and by far the cheapest, would be to by a cat delete pipe, and then by a high flow muffler since your exisiting system is already 4in.

I did the mbrp that replaces the stock muffler with one of mbrp and a cat delete pipe that comes with the kit I like how it sounds and it was under 300 bucks

The MBRP replacement muffler is great if you're married and you don't want to talk/listen to your wife. The drone does an excellent job of blocking conversation. :-laf

it's not that bad when you lug it kind of has a drone to it and it comes back at 70mph but after you over 75mph it gone.

I got the silverline 4 inch turbo back kit and that joker sounds good. Its not too loud and does not drone. Don't get me wrong though people look when I go by. 500 bucks aint to bad.
