06 Clutch

I have a 2006 4x4 6 speed. I just put a organic valair clutch in it, and the hydrolic upgrade. When putting on the new clutch master cylinder shaft on to the clutch pedal I broke the plastic clip that hold the master cylinder rod onto the "ball" on the clutch pedal. Dodge said I have to buy a whole master cylinder rod. Just wandering if anyone else has a part number or any ideas.

I don't know if the Dodge uses the same arrangement as Ford, but I did find a retainer for a Ford in a pack of bushings at a local auto parts HELPS, I think the product line is CLUTCH IN of HELP section. I think Dorman is the supplier, subject to correction. Might be worth a look, the HELPS line has a lot of "where did they get that kinda" stuff.
