'06 CTD badge

Just me, or has anyone else noted the new CTD Badge position on the '06? Frankly, I think it's a little better as it will allow fender flares to be installed a lot easier. Now... Should I move mine now, or wait til I get my bigger tires and flares? :-laf

I think it looks funky in the new spot. The emblem is cool though. Should put that emblem on the tailgate instead of the stupid dodge ram horns and put the words in chrome block letters, "cummins turbo diesel" under the "ram 2500"...

When the 3rd Gens came out I always thought it was odd how they put the "Hemi" & "Cummins" bades at the front of the fender, and wondered why they didn't move it back to where it is now.



Now that they've moved it, I find it odd as well because I was used to the old way.



Overall I prefer the position on the '06's better. I've seen a couple 3rd Gen Hemi's around town that moved their badges to that position, and as already mentioned, this has to be done for fender flares anyway so I'd rather it be done from the factory than me having to do it later.

I pulled all the badging off my truck except for the Big C on the fender. Where it is doesn't matter to me really, so long as it's there...
