Thats true... but the 6. 7 is no where close to being the motor the 5. 9 is... . the 5. 9 gets alot better fuel mileage... . and at the cost of fuel,i would want the best mileage i could get... . but if you have alot of money then it doent matter... . you jusy pay for it and your on your way... if i sell the Dodge. . i am thinging about an older ford 2002 or 2003 with the 7. 3.....

I don't believe that a 5. 9 is a better engine than 6. 7. I also don't believe that the fuel mileage is much different.

A Ford with a 7. 3 is a giant step backward. A 7. 3 doesn't have the power of a 5. 9 nor a 6. 7 and is a far cry from having as good of mileage.

mfurrh55... . if it has low miles. . i dont see why you couldn't get that for it...
I'm just teasing, there is no way i could get that around here, besides i have 114,000 miles on mine, don't think i'd like to go in debt for a new one either, hope you get close to what your asking, Good luck and God bless, Monte

Have a 06 4x4 2500 auto bighorn with 25800 miles. Like new condition. tow a small boat only. Been thinking about buying a new 1500 v-6. Haven't look at them yet. I don't know how much they are. After seeing the asking prices for5. 9 trucks maybe now is the time. Would miss the exhaust brake.

I have seen alot of posts on here with guys that have the 6. 7 and alot of them really dont care for them... and alot of people wish Dodge had stayed with the 5. 9..... i dont think i have seen anyone say they get 20 mpg with there 6. 7... not unless my math and my trip computer are both wrong thats what iam getting with the 5. 9... ... oh what the heck... iam wrong and the trip computer is what it is... wrong to... lol

That is easily the going price for 06's. Go on autotrader and check it out. I've been looking at them for a couple months there and e-bay. Here on the east coast down thru the south they are all in the low 30's for a truck like that without add ons!

jkh..... Thats the same thing i found here on the west coast... looking on cragslist i found all the low mile 06,s were going in the low 30,s ... . but there are some people on here that dont seam to thing thats the going price for one... . the way i look at it is you can buy a new one for 50,000 with tax,s or you can buy a nice low mile one for 20,000 less if you can find one... i dont know about you or anybody else that things thats to high of a price for an 06... . but i work hard for my money and 20,000 less sounds real good to me... .

I paid about 33k for my 2003 dually with 15k miles and am glad I could get one. The right buyer will come along if it hasn't already been sold.
