No they are not the same as the 04. I just ran into this very situation, not because I wanted to be a perfectionist but because the tap shattered while trying to tap out the hole for the pyro. So pulled everything off, had to take the manifold to a machine shop to fix my little issue. Awesome. . So I ran into this gasket issue. Called everywhere, no one has them. Looked at the gaskets really closely, there are four "pieces" per cylinder. I asked for a different model year, the 04 is a single gasket. I guess, and can stand corrected if someone else knows, the single gasket was wearing out, and the multi level one we have handles the changes in heat between the dis-simular (check spelling on that one). metals better... And cost is way different, the 06 are like $8. 00 a pop and the 04 are $13. 00 a pop. But needless to say it has been an experience, quite possibly the longest, most expensive pyro install ever. Can't even sleep seeing my truck sitting there torn to pieces awaiting parts which may be here in a week or so. Thinking about putting the original gaskets back on... Anyone, ideas?
