It's about time you joined up on this site and got your name out. (too many others from Montana trying to take credit for your work

Good to see you get online and involved with the forums, I figured if I kept guilting you enough, you'd do it eventually :D

I wish I could still be around to help you out on this one, this is what I wanted from day one, but couldn't find a suitable rig to use for it. So is the engine/ transmission already spoken for? Should be easy to sell with as few miles *** it must have, even if it is a powerstroke. If not, I bet I can turn it quick down here for you, lots of bad engines/used trucks down here for sale, I'm betting they're from New Orleans flood claims. Alot have mysterious brown water lines in the ccabs and engine compartments where they couldn't get it detailed out. :( Might need to come back up to MT to pick up another use truck this spring.

Keep the pics coming on this one, and make sure you keep a parts listing for me, I'll be looking for another truck next year, probably a v-10 super poopy or excursion. Either way, I'll need a parts list for the repower. Miss ya'll.

mnan thats my perfect pickup size truck a F 550 4x4 crew with aluminum 19. 5s and cummins 6spd manual or allison 1000. . nice to dream. . ha

I would definitely take the F-650 over the smaller chassis fords, but then you're dealing with the DOT clowns. Lots of headaches for just a pickup truck. The 450 and 550 series still don't have enough brakes for me, One of the reasons I have an exhaust brake on my dodge, at least it helps to prolong the pad life a little.

Looking forward to pics Dawna, I'm sure Kenny will even more calls after this one is on the road again.

It's to bad you can't buy just the chassis

with no running gear... ... ... ... . it wouldn't be a vehicle - just parts... ... .

If Ford did this, they'd have a warehouse full of powerstroke engines with no forced application and no market to get rid of them in. I guess they could ebay them to third world countries.

Where do you find all those 97' 12v engines? Do the customers find em or do you have a stash? looking for a pull out for my own project. Looks like you folks do excellent work by the way.

Out of shear need to actually profit and succeed as a legitimate LEGAL small business without the use of illegal labor or kissing the CARB division's backside to get their "referee's to endorce the repowers, I doubt your "hint" will ever be given a second thought.

Besides, Dawna and Ken have far too much pride in their business and workmanship to subject themselves to california's legalized small business extortion. Montana is becoming a colony of Calfornia as it is now. You'll be immigrating to MT soon too I bet, (if you can actually own a fossil fuel powered vehicle of any make in the next few years to escape). :-laf

well, i'm on the search for motors all the time, i have some good connections, lol. - its hard to find the 97 12V now but they are out there still, keep beating the bushes down there, your best bet is to keep in touch with the salvage yards in your area, you only want one from a roll over-front end hits tend to do too much damage... .

not a chance... . lol - the only time we come to california is for the NHRA events (ken is an alcohol funny car driver) in pomona... can't take the big city too long... . we are heading strait to a race track, hotel and back home... . our cummins has spend ALOT of time on the highways... .

the second powerstroke guy is from denver... .

rick will be here with his on tuesday - he is as excited as a little kids... . LOL!!!
