06 headlight bulb question

what bulbs are in my 2006? i'm looking to get the truview bulbs. thanks!... . james

havn't any of you pulled a bulb out before? the guy at napa told me there special projection bulbs and cost upward of $200 a side! :--) for that reason alone i dont want to touch them. maybe he was just feeding me a line of bull??... . james

They are just the same old halagen just a better reflector. He was jerking your chain

In the back of your owners manual they usually list the bulbs and types.

They are H13/9008 bulbs... . about $20-$30 each. VERY little aftermarket in that size available though. No Silverstars that's for sure.

the new trucks are a new style. plow shop that did my plow said they are a ford style plug?! I guess they would know because they have to unplug the lights to put the harness on.
