06 HID head lights?

Do the 06 and newer trucks with the pointed headlights have HID lights? Are the newer lights better than the 03-05 lights?

Wishful thinking but no. We are having to do our thing . check out this thread last page and see what some of us are doing.

No factory HID's. My opinion, the '06 and up lights are much better than 03-05's, both low and high beam. I added Sylvania Silverstars and think my lights are more then adaquate now.

Does any one know if the 05 Duramax has HID lights? My brother has one and that thing really put out some light.
