Had a weird thing happen this week. Got to a restaurant and opened the door the horn sounded and the cargo light light on the dash went on. With the door closed if I pressed the cargo light button the horn would sound. Turned off the alarm and still the same thing would happen. Got out and had lunch when I came back all was well no horn when I opened the door. It has not happened again and I drove the truck a few more time over the last few days. Also the truck would start so I don't think its the alarm. Not really sure what the deal is. Thanks

Probably the newest version of the "you're in reverse and your door isn't closed" alarm. :-laf These electronics amaze me and infuriate me all at the same time!

That happens to me every once in a while. I'll hit the button on my fob to unlock the door, then open the door and the alarm goes off. It may be time for some replacement batteries in my fob's.

I do notice, however, that when I push the unlock button on the fob and the parking lights don't flash, then the alarm will go off even though it still unlocks the door.
