when empty how much clearence between overload spring and rubber pad on the frt side of the overload?

Second,

i was yanking the frt drive shaft to the frnt axle and noticed that the yoke coming out of the transfer case, wiggles quite a bit. near an 1/8 of an inch of play. NO play in the ujoint but as it enters the transfer case.

Is this bad/normal???

TIA

You're talking a stock truck? NO air bags? for that measurement between springs and the bump stop?

You need to do a sig line and tell us how your truck is equipped, mods, etc.

i installed rear bags and want to know where it sits with no junk in it I have about 1K of crap in it, so i cant tell the orig height.

Just looking at my truck and wiggled the yoke and noticed that it moves... I would think that not normal...

Where it sits now would depend on how much air you have in the bags. I installed a pair of longer bump stops after installing my air bags. Instead of having just the bags taking the load, at some point the longer bump stops will engage the overload springs which is a nice balance between the two.

stock height is what i need < roughly unloaded cab and bed>
between overload pad and overload spring. (frt side of spring)
