'06 models ready for ordering?

What's new for 06? Dodge, KBB and Nada don't have specs on thier web sites yet.

Are Megacabs so heavy (& why)?

Tomeygun, if the TDR magazine's last issue is right a 2500 2x4 CTD Megacab with the auto would weight almost #7k. Say it isn't true! Our provincial law puts trucks above #6500 in the commercial category (scales, permits, annual inspection, yaddi yadda).



Will I have to ride with Helium in the cab :-laf

my quad 4x4 3500 shortbed weighs 7200 lbs. minus the 199 for me so it still is over your state limits. guess 4wd is out for you unless you register commercial?

Raped Ram front end, mix of the durtrango SUV and dakota. Mega Cab of course. Updated interior... I think they are offerering a sunroof new. Yaaa, more junk to wear out lol..... I think engine and transmission specs will be the same though!

I guess what I am looking for is some confirmation on some options - Dodge for some reason has nothing on their website (go figure).



Did the 3500 SRW GVRW get increased beyond 9900 lbs?

Can you get the Megacab in a "bed delete" model?

Is it true that any model with a bed delete (ie chassis cab) is only available in SRW?

I have a good buddy who works at the crysler proving gounds,he brought home a 2006 ext. cab. One thing I noticed you don,t have to pull out the whole headlight housing to change the headlight bulb,you can reach right behind the headlight now to change it,thats a good thing IMHO. coobie Oo.

The '06 headlight design is uglier IMHO, but it is supposed to be something like 22% brighter then the previous design. Function over form any day in my book if I have to choose!

It was born at #5900 (2675 kg), according to DC. What would make 20 more inches (out of 240) weight #1k more? The numbers don't compute... :-{}



Are we getting more engine (a new inline 8?), die cast seats, armored headlights?



Sadly, 4x4 duallies are 'out' around here for the aformentionned licensing reasons... Dan
