HO the garage is usually about 55 at the coldest. Ever since i put the truck throught the old door and got my partents a nice new one the garage does not get that cold. I wish i could enjoy that feature, but my truck won't fit so i work on it outside.

55 is warm :D I would have to clear it with GC :-laf I might be busy, ya know. I swear that list of stuff to do just gets longer :{

O/T as usual, but any NJ guys have a dually and get away with not getting it inspected?

According to NJ DMV / MVC you do not need to get it inspected if you are between 10,001 and 17,999 GVWR.

That is correct, my buddy was kicked out of motor vehicle because his 05 dually is over 10,000.

It has to say it on the door jamb they check. They checked mine when i went rolling in.

100 bucks Headshot is thinking right now... How can I make a new 06 dually into a veggie oil eating machine. :-laf :-laf

Sorry I could not help it. :D

you're close..... I wish that duallies were some kinda of quickie bolt on :) and you got a special sticker for showing up and then I'd unbolt them, that or I need to dump my engine into 1981 or earlier and get "QQ" plates. I never thought something built in 1981 could be ever considered antique. And I still haven't taken this thing through inspection yet. Its almost been 2 years since I got it.

I finally got something that couldn't possibly ever fail for emissions and I still won't go. Since this is the NJ forum I can confess this here. I have been driving for almost 21 years and been through inspection 3 or 4 times. I am just totally incorrigible sometimes.

I was hoping I might roll through NJ state inspection with my fiance's Arizona TDI Jetta (came with tinted windows so it would fail right away), roll down the windows and pull the fuse and say that they just don't work. Wonder if that would fly very well. Windows are not a legal requirement that I know of. Don't really feel like taking off the tint.

I like the way you think... ... muhahahaha

There is one way around the window rule. You need a letter from an eye doctor stating that you need the tint for sensitive eyes. Something I've heard. And something to think about if you're getting lasik surgery.

I went through years ago with the family suburban and the rear windows were so black (tint) you could not see through them. It was a warm day and I had both front windows down and they asked me to put them up. It was not until the drive home that I realized why they wanted the windows up, it was because the the tint.

Headshot you will like this... I brought an 86 LX 5. 0 mustang and went through Ridgewood inspection with it and failed emissions  I went home fixed what I could, she ran better and smelled better too so I figured give it a shot. I went to the exit side for the emissions only and they told me the machine was broken so I went to the front of the line and the guy checked it and it failed again  the guy told me to goto the other said you failed go tell the guy at the end. I went and the guy asked me "did he take you?" I said yes he did. The guy then takes the fail sticker off and put a new passed sticker on  I left two black marks pulling out of there that day. :-laf Only in NJ could you fail emissions and get a new inspection sticker because they have morons working.

Fireplace would be great..... Please let it not be tonight...

I filter down to 5 microns. Be careful when its its cold out with a mix of wvo and diesel. This is only a problem if you are "single tanking" it. It will fall out of solution real quick when its cold out and settle at the bottom of your tank. Much to my dismay, I learned this last Friday and managed to limp my cropdusting truck to DMV in Lodi.

Some lady asked me "where do get my car inspected"? and I answered "to be honest I have no idea" and pointed to the building where I do not dwell.

Figures, just figures Brian, you get a passing sticker and I get the mahogany shampoo treament.

It is Summary:

Place: The Fireplace- 5 minutes up route 17N from GSP

Date: Sunday Febraury 26th.

Time: 4 O'clock

Wash your cars for pictures.

These Sooby guys are talking about taking up the ENTIRE parking lot?

Let's make sure we have a "reserved for oil burners" section!

EDIT hahaha the car wash thing was off the subaru site... i didnt mean to copy/paste it...
