possible dyno day Nov 25 in Burlington VT

06 Holiday Party

witness the humbler as it unleashes its fury on once again on yet another unsuspecting customer.

As Josh has said... .

Many have tried with attempts which ended up in futility to teach the "Humbler" a lesson, but, she has stood her ground and broken many hearts. If I had a dollar for eah time someone would roll into the bay and say what he WAS going to make we could have one whale of a shindig,LOL.

They say they didn't hear of the money down to dyno when everyone knew and was waiting for it to happen, alas it didn't. One thing is for sure,my severely underpowered, running on 3. 5 cylinders on a good day and only made 300hp will be on hand to watch. How could anyone miss the truck that has been touted as the Offshoreracr Killer and does anyone here think that maybe, just maybe Ol Fred has something left in his bag just in case?.

Remember,

Its the quiet ones like Steve and Fred you have to worry about as those are the guys who let their machine speak and speak quite clearly... ... ..... Andy

P. S. -Man,I just thought of this.

We need to move this discussion to the super secret forum boards as if Doug Leonhard hears or gets wind of this someone better call N. A. S. A. to warn them of a UFCH(Unidentified Flying Cylinder Head) outgoing. We all seen the results of trying to catch Fred, imagine the lesson he may try to teach here. Sccccccaaaaaaarrrryyyyy!!!!!

Count me in for $ 50. 00. What HP are we shooting for ??

Looks like the prize is up to $350 if the target HP of 700 is hit. :D Hopefully the moths do not eat my crisp $100 bill while I wait... .....

Heck when I thought I finally got one up on the "humbler" it ate my dyno sheets and all proof that it ever happened LOL :-laf

alright since i got dragged in i will add some light to the subject. Ever wonder why there is more arguments in the 3rd gen forum about time or feet VS. horsepower. Because its new and not figured out for one and the main reason is time of horsepower. Think real hard about what i said before ranting and raving. A 12v or vp 44 doesn't have pressure that falls of as bad as a common rail. So dyno numbers don't always add to track numbers.

Okay, about my truck, ... ... . The numbers recorded were in from of maaaaannny TDR members at a sactioned event TWICE, so the numbers are not false. The reason why i have high horsepower and low track times is TIME. I have spent hours and hours on the dyno and seconds at the track. I have run my truck a total of 15 times and at 4 different tracks. So i had 4 times to dial the truck in. Seat of the pants is hard to dial in with out numbers. Also try to dial in a 950 HP 2 wheel drive truck and not spin the tires. It takes time. You want to see a 6800lbs truck in the 11's and touching the 10' s then go to Vegas next May. want to see over 1000 HP on the dyno, go to Vegas in May. NGM i don't care what you believe, i don't stay awake at night hoping and wishing you find favor in my results.

All i can say is I put down 893 HP in Vegas, FACT. It has ran 119 MPH at Famoso Raceway in Bakerfield FACT, and when the truck finally got dialled in it snapped an output shaft on a 2wd. Rome wasn't built in one night, i learn fast and the truck will be in the 11's in May, still be one of the highest HP 3rd gens built, and will be able to go over 170MPH on a long flat road. Of course all of this is talk and could be BS, but thats for you to find out in MM '07.

To also help answer my times, . . you need to remember we are all learning how 3rd gen's work. When loaded a 3rd gen will want to fall off faster. Since last May i have found this and the top end power has increased by 60HP, but the midrange grunt has gotten much better. NGM, i went to Indy last year to have fun and show what the west coast could do. Its not cheap, but we would love to have you guys come down over to Vegas next year for good clean competition. Should be a good turn out with MM and DHRA. It's all in fun. I make the numbers that i can and thats all i can do.
