Is the 2006 Dodge Ram order guide on line anywhere? I need to buy a new truck with a 48RE (sold my 6-speed), and want to see how I can equip an '06 as compared to an '05. Thanks.

The 06 is just about the same as the 05 BUT:

Power rear sliding avail.

Laramie now comes with:

Sirius sat radio

power back glass

heated leather

and Sport package has the electronic 4x4 shifter now too

Let me know what model you are looking at I will see if I can get a rundown of avail. stuff

Anybody know what the GVWR is for the 2500, 3500 SRW, 3500 DRW model year 2006
Data I've seen says unchanged from 05.

2500 - 9000

3500 SRW - 9900

3500 DRW - 12200

You probably won't see increases until Dodge gets tires with higher load ratings, a la Ford Super Duty.

Ford is showing 11000 for a 3500 SRW. I guess Dodge is not interested in that market!

My neighbors 05 3500 Ford came with e-rated tires. Is Ford offering F or G's now?
F350s still use Es, but Ford specified a higher load rating per tire than Dodge. They both started from scratch with tire sizes that had never been used before, but Ford went for the weight capacity better than Dodge.
