06 ram 5.9 Slow acceleration

whats good!! im very green at Diesels i have an 06 ram 2500 5.9 2wd with 280k miles. im been trying to figure out whats up with the slow acceleration when i smash on the throttle. I understand it has to spool up. my buddy at work has the same truck as a work truck and that thing takes off quicker. i did a boost leak test and failed so i bought all new boots and clamps, i replaced the waste gate that was bad. is it possible if the MAP,
IAT sensor is going bad with out throwing a code. thanks for your help

You need to hook it up to a scanner while driving to see what's going on.

The reckoning on a turbodiesel is simple.
Fuel builds boost, more boost demands more fuel and there comes the power.
So you are either lacking fuel or boost.
