Glad I JUST bought an 05

Well you can't beat the room! And if I had a family I guess that is what I would have... ... but for now I will stick with my handsome 05. Yep they went down hill on the looks for sure..... even the dash. I can't believe that they got rid of our nice 3rd Gen cup holders! The only thing I like better is the bigger screen on the Nav system.

I absolutly love the interior except in the back where they have the seat too far behind the window. How are you supposed to roll the window down and stick your arm on the ledge when you are relaxing



The front end looks like a freakin dakota. The grill is just ugly.



Is the quad cab thing we have now the only way to get a long bed? What about duallys that want the new crew cab

Great job once again Steve, (as usual)!! But it does appear good ol' D/C dropped the bomb once again by not offering a dually!! WTH ??? Well maybe in a year or two, hopefully my 03 holds out that long !

FDavid - you could easily put your arm on the window in the back seat as long as you don't have it reclined back. Look at the pictures in my article. I answered your other questions in there too. Short bed SRW only for the Mega Cab.

I read all the info and looked at the pictures of the Mega Cab you posted. Great Job with everything! We can all tell you worked hard to get the info out about the Mega Cab so soon. After reading your post I felt like I was at the show! Did anyone talk about prices? Can you go to the dealer and order one now? How about 3500 Laramie$$$? Thanks again for keeping us informed. Did anyone notice on the bottom left pic of the steering wheel and gauge cluster how the tach has a 5000 RPM redline but the fuel gauge says "Diesel Fuel Only"? whats up with that?

It certainly has DAKOTA/DURANGO written all over it! BLAH!



I think D/C is just cheapening up a bit. I have a feeling that the 2006 headlight assembly is going to be exactly the same as in the Durango. Cheaper to make ONE part that fits multiple platforms.



As for the interior... I personally do not like the look of PLOOD, but to each his own!
