06 recall

Received my trailer life the other day and on page 18 D. C. C. is recalling 39,274 ram p/u equipped with four-wheel antilock brake system. Recall # 06V038000. Any one get notified or could add to this thread. That # was NHTSA. D/C recall #F05. Sorry about that.

That # is not in the typical format for D/C,I doubt it is a good #

I had my '06 3500 in today to work on a check engine light problem. They told me its build date made it subject to this recall. The parts won't be in until Friday. They read me the recall info over the phone. Paraphrasing, it said: under emergency braking conditions, the problem could cause all four wheels to lock up. Needless to say, I told them to keep the truck until they could apply the recall on Friday. I don't really need the brakes locking up with an 8,00 pound trailer behind me.

diesel4me thanks for your input on the recall I will be contacting my dealer. I to do not want my brakes locking up while pulling my trailer or any other time.
