As the title says...no other symptoms or codes. This is intermittent in my '06 2500 ,4 X 4, Auto, SLT, Mega Cab, but is happening more often to the point that I need to get it fixed. Any thoughts on where to begin...?
I have the same truck and had the same problem. There was simply no sound although all of the radio controls worked fine. It hasn't reoccurred in months and the only change I can attribute is that I replaced the batteries. Maybe it's just a coincidence but something to consider.
Thanks, Grant..I had thought of the batteries and disconnected, cleaned and reconnected, but no change...think I am going to have to start chasing wires and fuses....
Hmm... Sounds to me like the no radio, no clock, window controls quit, ABS light stays on syndrome that I attribute to the reclusive troll that lives in my TIPM. A quick restart resets everything, at least for me.

My batteries seemed fine, truck would start no problem. Are your symptoms the same? All of the controls work but no sound? Mine would either work or not on start up and it would never change while driving. The next key cycle might get a different result. I would literally drive it a 100 yards when the radio was acting up, shut it down, restart and the radio (usually) would work again.
I will try the quick restart and see what happens, but I dont want to have to do that everytime this issue occurs...maybe address the TIPM that Killgore mentioned...and start looking over wires and connections....Thanx thus far gentlemen...!
