06 Terbo PSI

Just installed a Turbo PSI gauge and the turbo PSI will climb above 38 PSI when I get on it. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? It is stock and has no mods, bought it new.

I didn't think a stock truck would hit 38. Mine does but thats with a smarty witch does boost fooling. with out boost fooling the most I have seen was 30.

32 is about max in the stock configuration, where did you tap for the boost gage?

My 06 will hold a solid 32 under load. I use a boost bolt in the center area of the manifold.

All I could get stock with my 07 is 29psi at the elbow going into the top of the motor? The smary brings it up to about 35psi

If you bought the truck used maybe there is a boost fooler installed.
