'06 to '07 interior panels

Does anyone know if the door panels from an '07 are a direct fit in an '06? Also wanting to know about the bezel around the radio. What's all involved in removing it? And, is an '07 interchangeable with an '06?

My truck has wood grain on the front doors and around the radio. It looks horrible!! I haven't had any luck finding aftermarket kits to change it either. Well, my boss just got an '07 and it has silver on the doors and around the radio. Perfect!! My truck is silver and it would look great. He would rather have the wood grain too. The door panels look identical, as well as the dash, but I would like to be positive it will work before I tear his truck apart.

i do know that my neighbor has an '06 laramie and i just (finally!!) bought my '07 laramie. . and they both have the wood grain stereo/door inserts. . the 07 "big horn" trucks have silver/aluminum look on the doors and AROUND the stereo plastic. . i was thinking about adding that to my already silver surround (around the hvac) consol bezel thing?? might be too much silver though?. . the only other option i know of is the midnight runner srt-10 pick up set. . its all piano black and looks sharp! but my truck is silver so i dont think that would blend well. . just a thought

I don't know about interchangabilty but removal of the radio bezel is easy. Remove the two screws just above the cup holders facing down and then pry it off. Its held in by clips all around it. Use care as I scratched the surface just above the cup holder when I pryed it off. A new bezel (mine was woodgrain and when I added the Navigation head unit I went to the silver bezel from the mega cab) costs around $70-$80 from the dealer.
