the smarty does not raise rail pressure over stock levels.

stacking smarty with a pressure box works very well. I like to see upgrades injector tips (f1 diesel) for added protection over stock tips.

but those nozzels are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy over priced, all for a extra hole

FYI, When you order a TS MP8, you have to tell the good folks over at TS performance that you have and are planning on stacking the MP8 with a TST so they can tune it differently. Any questions give them a call and they can explain better... "I'm" not going to step on any toes here.

I would much rather have Don's tips, made out of a different material altogether than the stock tips. They are much more resilient and withstand greater rail pressure without sustaining damage.

Most other companies take stock Bosch tips and modify them. They work, but are really no better than stock as far as reliability is concerned.

Another thing Don does is fully test each injector. There sure aren't a lot of facilities that have the tools to test the injectors. They swap the tips and send 'em back out.

F1's are worth it in my book.

truck is an 06 with 15K miles on it... . so i am just passing this info along again but will people listen... most will. these new truck fuel systems are not as strong as 24v and 12v's when abused... 30K+psi spikes thru these injectors is a killer!

The fuel systems on the 12v and 24v trucks also did not produce 30k pressure. 14-15k for the vp444 and 17-18k for the 12v p pump... big difference. The are also two very different systems which introduce variables not really all understood. Also with the TST and mp-8 stack, the mp-8 should be reprogramed since the fueling curve is changes. I LOVE the p-pumps. . reliable hands down, but thats long gone and as new generations of common rail injection are being developed; their reliability, capacity, and pressure capability will also increase. Just look at the 6. 7 and its upgrades which will appear on our trucks I will venture to say.

i would normally agree with you ,but the stock bosch nozzels are tested @ 28-30kpsi in stock form. that is directly from bosch. we have a new nozzel comeing out that is better than the stock material and has the bennifits of extrude honing or edm processes. i do agree however that there are meny companies that just throw nozzels on and call it good, well thats a shame on there end.

over priced is enjoying alot of hp when stacking boxes and not knowing what your doing and wasting an engine. yea bosch may test them but who says pressure spikes dont occur over 30K.
