'07.5 3500 (SWR) Quad Cab Long Bed GVWR?

Someone out there with a '07. 5 3500 SWR Quad Cab Long Bed w/ 6. 7 Diesel and 6 speed automatic w/ 4. 10, tow package... what is the GVWR? Is it 10,100 lbs? The reason I ask is that Oregon DOT when it comes to chain and traction tire requirements uses 10,000 GVWR (when not towing) as the determining factor for some of its traction tire laws. I would venture to guess as long as a person was in a 'single' rear tired light truck there wouldn't be much of a chance of being checked for that extra 100 lbs anyway... dual rear tires though would likely raise the red flag.

I agree with you and would take the guess one step further. I would venture a guess that OR and WA DOT would continue to assume a lower GVWR for SRW trucks and wouldn't pay much attention unless you got sideways and blocked traffic in a spectacular way or got involved in a significant accident. DOT officers usually have lots of things to consider and have to set priorities on where to spend their time and effort.
