07 Dodge Mega need some help various issues

I still think somehow my exhaust smell in the cabin is coming from the heater/a/c fan door. If I turn the fan to off, it does not smell like diesel exhaust. I really think someone the foam insulation I have seen through the vents has somehow gone bad and something in the heater/a/c plumbing is not sealing and allowing the fumes to come into the cabin. Just my humble opinion guys.

If you turn the fan off the recirc door closes and blocks the airflow from outside.

Put these on my '14 due to the DW on occasionally complaining about diesel smell. Had the bonus of keeping all the Poplar seeds out of the HVAC box! Need to get for the '01 1500! They do cut down on the air flow a bit, not enough to be a deal breaker though. Wish there was a way to be able to refill with the bulk carbon that you use in aquariums. Refills not bad in price, wish they had a bulk discount.
