Hi guys,
I just got the 07 smarty from Bob Wagner... and I just want to give a big thanks to Marco and everyone involved with this device. It is by a wide margin the most mindblowing and smile inducing mod I've ever performed on any vehicle I've ever owned. Programs load with ease and the device is very well thought out. Even the quality of the OBD2 cable is outstanding, and thats comparing to other companies' scantools that we use at the shop.
The smarty actually makes the truck more driveable in city stop and go because it eliminates the throttle lag that seems to drag on forever and then as boost comes up slam you to redline because of the emissions system limiting the truck's fueling. Smoke on command is fantastic, and I havent noticed at all the inability to control it. If you treat the truck gently, you can easily achieve faster, but still mostly smokeless starts/gear changes.
Thanks again, to Marco, Bob Wagner, and hell while we're at it the US customs service who delayed the shipment of the darn things... I hope that the delay keeps some illegal products out of the country, thereby making things safer.
-Dan
