yes it is acting very funny I also have a few more codes if you dont mind checking let me know and I will run out and get them real quick

Ok first let me tell you the story. Lift pump went south ,Dealer replaced it ,got two miles from dealer same problem. They replaced the Injection pump ,transfer case because it was leaking. In the process of elimination of driveability problem they also replaced the ecm and pcm. And after I got it back is when I started having these problems. It almost feels like the tps is bad the way it acts ,I go from a 40 mph 3rd gear shift to an idle . This happens whether it is cold, hot morning ,night ,all day every day no one can figure it out and it is very hard to drive like that. anyway enough of that the other codes are

0753

1765

1693 thanks fer yer help man

Jim

0753 - Trans 3-4 Shift Sol/Trans Relay Circuits

An open or shorted condition detected in the transmission 2-4 shift solenoid circuit.

1765 - Trans 12 volt supply relay control circuit

Current state of solenoid output port is different then expected.

1693 - Mystery Code :)

This means there is a code set in the ECM and PCM, usually its associated with overboost, and sometimes with injection pump failures depeending on who you talk to.

The 1765 is for an open or short in the trans relay control circuit, and the 1693,is fault generated in companion engine control unit.

I'm not familiar with the DTT smart controller, but could it be causing the problem, maybe they reconnected improperly ? If it is possible to disconnect it,and then test drive it,it would eliminate that as a problem.

Double check all the work they did visually, looking for loose bolts, grounds, connectors, battery connections, etc

If you don't find anything obvoius, then I would truck it straight back to them and tell em it ain't fixed,so fix it. If you yell loud enough, they should hopefully get it right the second time.

Good luck

Thanks for all the help guys Ireally appreciate it . I am going to get it painted first(ghost flamin it) Than next week I will truck it there But for now I will check it out and remove the DTT box and see what happens Thanks again,Jim

New paint !!

You really want some dealer grease monkey layin all over those freshly painted fenders ?

I would fix it first, then paint it. JMHO. Good luck, hope you get it solved.

carhauler, any update? I have this same problem we just installed the fuelboss and as soon as i start it i get these codes and the trans shifts down in to 2nd then back up, the only thing we did electrical was unhook batteries, going to unhook and reclean connections to see what happens

You have a DTT transmission and smart controller? Did they take the jumper out and put a relay back in for the transmission? Call Bill at DTT.
