08 6.7 head studing

I am going to install my head studs and was wondering if any off them thread in to open water jackets?

Do I need to drain the antifreeze berfore I pull out any head bolts?

Holy crap! There are 26 head bolts?!?!

Where did you get your stud set, and how much?


Oh, looking in Alldata it doesn't really say, but it's one of the first steps in removing the head.

They were around 450. 00 from roolin smoke diesel [ great company to deal with]

The job is done now and they dont thread in to the water jackets.
