I've read that there is nothing major for 08, especially since the 6. 7 motor was introduced toward the end of the 07 model year (07. 5).

Some believe that the new generation model (4G) will be released after the first of the year as a 2009. It seems to me that Chrysler makes most of the significant truck changes in January. That may also be part of the reason that no changes are being made for the 08.

What has anyone else heard????

alright. . too lazy to upload pics. . heres what ive noticed w/the '08's

ram symbol above the rear view mirror on the windshield

black door inside door handles/pulls

overhead display w/more options (now w/turn honk off w/arm) seems to be a problem on the '07's remote

laramie's now have a dark (walnut) color fake wood door and radio surround color inserts...

new big horn emblem. .

and new "bluetec diesel" emblem...

..... anyone want pics let me know

We need to talk Dodge into letting the Yellow of the rumble bee on the 1500's also be an opt for the 2500 n 3500 truck's? atleast I think it would look cool .

I have been seeing some 07 1500 QC's that aren't rumble bees with detonator yellow. I would buy a yellow 2500 mega cab in a second.

Again, what's with the "Bluetec Diesel" emblem?

I think it refers to this item listed on the window sticker:

BLUETEC Ultra-Clean Diesel System $995

Includes High Capacity EGR, Diesel

Oxidation Catalyst, Particulate

Filter and NOx Storing Catalyst.

Meets 2010, 50-State Emissions

na. . the urea system requires the constant refilling of some type of fluid(urea?) and dcx has already figured we americans are too lazy so why bother. . haha. .

ive seen some yellow rams at the yard lately. . but 1500's only. .

Wow, so all "Bluetec" really is is something you would have to order anyway, if you purchase a diesel. Here I was thinking it was some kind of cool new injection system or something. They make it sound like a $995 option.
