On my '09 3500 Ram bighorn edition on a sunny day or a cloudy day with lights on, the overhead consul display is near impossible to read. Is their anyway a dealer or myself can brighten the display up?

If your lights are on during the day you can brighten the display by turning the dash light thumbwheel up one click. Two clicks turns the dome lights on.
That first click or notch is called the "parade" setting in the owners manual. That brings the overhead display and odometer to full daytime brightness with the lights on.
The display is dim even with the lights off in the daytime. The dash shift display is bright, but the radio & overhead consul is dim. Maybe this is normal, but I don't know.
Thanks for the reply

My 08 has the same issue. Asked about it when just 1 week old and no fixes. Looked at several on the lot and all had the same problem. Glare is also a big problem since the lens is shiny. Went to store and got an anti-glare protector sheet for a cell phone and cut it to fit. Didn't totally fix but a big improvement.
limo tint all around will fix the problem... . its a must here in my neck of the woods..... but my display is nice and bright during the day and night, unless i mess with the dim wheel.....
