$1,000 check

Dodge is offering a $2000 rebate on the 1/2 tons and I got $1000 for the 2500. It sounds like GM is just sending the rebate to potential buyers in the mail.

When I got the mail yesterday ther was and otherwise unmarked envelope with 1" letters stating "It was time for me to get out of Dodge", not knowning who it was from I opened it. to my suprise it was from my friendly GMC/Chev manufacturer offering me a $1,000 to buy a 1/2 ton from them. They must be getting desperate to try this. Not even pushing a Duramax.

I bet we're going to see a lot more rebates offered by every truck manufacturer as we slide deeper into a recession caused by Bill & Hillary's economic, environmental and energy policies, which, by the way, should make our diesel cost over $2/gallon this Summer.

Looked over a parked Durapuke the other day. That Hydro-formed frame really takes a big drop under the cab (extra cab in this case). It would really take a beating off road it appeared.
