Competition Spur of the moment dyno

HVAC-those numbers are with stock turbo and injectors. The bigger the hose the more fuel you can push through it. Timing boxes, as near as I can tell, advance timing in the midrange-1600-2100 rpm. At higher rpm they are at same advance as stock computer. I ordered a set of Hoosier Quick Time Pro drag slicks-dot approved 28x14. 5x16. Lets see what I can lauch with after I get those babies warmed up. Oo. :D

While that is an over simplification, so you don't think my injectors are stock?:-laf

But you said ---

"If you've maxed out the vp44 you've maxed it out. "

So, if the VP44 is maxed out, where does the additional fuel come from???

Regarding timing boxes, assuming your correct in that they only perform in the midrange, I REPEAT, more midrange will get you down the track quicker then a box with less midrange. Anyone think differently?

In my experience the tires don't hurt you much.

I bought a set of 245/75 michelins to replace my original 33" Wrangler MT's. I was hoping to see lower 1/4 mile times and higher speeds, but didn't.

I now run 35" mud tires and ran 109 mph in the 1/4 on multiple passes last weekend.

You're just WAY down on power. For comparison's sake, I've seen several trucks with the Edge Drag comp box and DD2 (80HP) injectors run 96-98 mph in the 1/4.

Trap speed = power or weight reduction.

Compare that to your 88 mph and you're missing quite a few ponies.

Ran the 1/4?? Or should you say, SPUN the 1/4??'

What did you do about those tires you had in San Antonio, Clash of the Titans?
