Turd

Here is mine

16. 20@84mph

2. 4 60 ft

Not to bad for a truck with just an EZ on it. I can hook good off the line but I have a traction problem when I stomp shift 3rd.

I unplugged the EZ and went an 18. 18@72 so the EZ is good for almost right at 2 seconds in the 1/4 mile.

my best run to date is

14. 38 @ 91. 72 mph stock michelins , 6682lbs with me in it.

sub 2. 0 60 ft , i'll have to find the slip

4wd launch ,at about 10psi , higher than that and my output shaft gets scared

put on an hx40 that makes 48 psi ... i think i will hit 13's now ... still no slicks and no drugs ...

leaving with just 5psi and 2wd i have gone 14. 5 @ 91 ... 2. 3ish 60 ft ... i'll find this slip also . .

Best two runs were :

1. 91 60' ... ... ... ... ... ..... 1. 81 60'

8. 519... ... 1/8th E/T... ... 8. 468

13. 44... ... 1/4 E/T... ... ... 13. 48

99. 45... ... MPH... ... ... ..... 98. 14

Best MPH all day was 99. 73 MPH I was trying to get 100mph when my turbo let go on the last pass of the day. Good thing this was the last race day for the year :D

KatDiesel,

What happened on the 13. 48 pass you made... . ?

The 1/10th you cut on the 60' should have resulted in a much larger gain in the ET (upwards of 3/10th's) at both the 1/8th and the 1/4 than what I'm seeing here... where you went slower with a better 60'.....

Very odd...

100mph

Hey Kat you might be able to get your 100 mph by letting it spin in 2wd. Its seems on most vehicles more tire spin(to an extent of course) helps MPH out some. When I first put slicks on my car it clipped 6mph off of my MPH. But it took 6 tenths off of my total ET. I thought it had something wrong with it at first, until I made a run on street tires before I left. I could run 13. 0s at 113mph on radials and go 12. 80s at 106(waaay back in the days of stock heads). Once I finaly got my slick MPH to match my radial MPH I had changed heads and was going 12. 0s and 11. 90s. My car lives and breaths from an 8" torque convereter lol. I don;t have alot of power I just throw it out there real hard so my MPH sucks. Oh well enough off subject rambling.

Keep it up!!

clark , that makes sense on your slick vs street tire comparo , the quicker you go in time the less time you have to build up speed . , to bring up your MPH it tkes more hp , which in turn makes your times quicker  :D

kat good show , to bad about the turbo , i agree , get it out of 4wd and you will get that 100 mph time slip ...
