The boys in the Duramaxes have been running 12s for a long time. A few are in the high 11's. And that's with NO engine mods. Stacked programming and trans upgrades. The 11's require NOX



Only reason I mention it is I find it strange that the Duramax is so often left out in these conversations.

From my perspective, mid 15's isn't slow for a 3/4 ton diesel pick up truck. You're talking about moving a lot of weight and pushing a lot of wind.



Put a trailer hitch on a Mustang GT, then put a Yugo on a tow bar behind it. Now take a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood and stand it up on the roof. What do you think it would run?





Did you make any runs without the EZ?

You guys are gonna laugh but i only went down the track once. . I was pretty scared and my heart was pounding the whole time. Also since my pyro isnt hooked up i was worried about hurting something.

I know one thing if you can run Mid-15's..... You can still **** of a lot of car owners when you run them in the ground, or at least run with them.

A friends 03 HO with just a WD airfilter ,Dynomax race muffler and a Western Diesel box went 15. 30 @92 at Ubly dragway last year.



I have know idea who makes the box for WD but it works pretty good. 388hp on the chassis dyno.

Drop me a line when you get a chance..... I have a Grand National I wouldn't mind running at the races..... I have not had it to the track this year (YET!) However, last year I was consistantly running 11. 20's... . I have way too much money into that car, HEE HEE! I guess that is why I call myself the "Turbo Kidd".
