FOr all you local Phoenix AZ truckers, RIght off 67th ave and I-10 there is a Flyn-J Truck stop that has fuel for $1. 42. THis is a good price conceduring that most places in town sell diesel fuel for $1. 78-1. 83 per gallon.

Am I reading current, 8/20/05, posts on fuel prices? Diesel is $2. 58-down from $2. 77 a few weeks ago here on Cape Cod, Mass. It has been higher than gasoline most of the spring and summer. What accounts for the huge difference?

Why did someone dig this up. I bought my truck in Dec. 2003 and filled up on $1. 36 in Frankfort Ky. I was p!ssed all day because it was $1. 28 at home and I had spent the extra cash.



Next summer hit almost $2 and is right at $2. 50 now.
