Nice short time. What tires were you using?

tires are BFG all-terrians 285s

I re-dyno'd today (after fixing a lame fuel bypass valve) and the numbers were quite a bit better. 458hp, 1087ft/lb. I replaced the bypass valve about a year ago, but never checked the new one for proper spring length. Lesson learned!

I had planned to make up a signiture for myself, but after looking at some of your rides on the gallery about all I could come up with is something like, "1995 rust bucket diesel work truck, ugly paint, loud, ugly, smokey, (Did I mention ugly?), umm, err, uhhhh,... ... ... ... ... ... ..... Oh yeah, some power stuff!

Guess I still haven't gotten the old street racing mentality whipped (although if I were still a street racing man this rust bucket would do me well!).



I've checked out some of your rides on the gallery. They are NICE!!!!

TERRIBLE night at Irwindale last night.

Best run was 8. 58 @84 2. 26 60ft. Was experiencing real bad tire spin, even easing out and hammering it further down the track. One pass I peddled the throttle halfway down the track before tires hooked up.



Tried using the Meth on two of the passes but experienced popping, kinda like a gas motor hitting the rev limiter. Found out my #3 injector retainer nut was loose and blowing combustion all over the place. Didn't run bad until the meth kicked in. Got the truck home, tightened the injector and problems went away. Runs like a madman on the meth now!
