Just filled up at ExxonMobile on I-69, south of Indianapolis. Diesel was only $13. 26 a gallon. Nice.

I saw diesel as high as $4. 20 in Spokane, WA. In addition to the high cost of crude oil, we have a "great" governor that loves to tax us to death . $5 a gallon, here we come.



Oh how I long for the days of $1. 75 a gallon like in the original postings.

I think you are being too optimistic on the date. I have a sad feeling this will be more like 2011 at the current rate of inflation.

Yeah,I'm sure THAT'S the problem... . ... ... . Not defending all of Bush's decisions,but do you REALLY believe the next president's going to make that big of a difference? I hate to tell ya,but they're ALL buddies behind the scenes with job preservation being #1. Perfect example : Bush # 1 & Clinton. They were enemies when in office,but now they're hangin' out together doing stuff together. I guess this time the other side will get elected,and show the GOP "how it's done". Be careful for what you wish for. Only time will tell,but in 4 years when YOUR candidate comes up for re-election what will your excuse be for what they didn't accomplish? Went down to about $3. 89 around S. of Houston. I liked hearing about the Truckers trying to protest. I hope they get organized enough to shut down some flow... I don't mind for a while. Somebody needs to do something. Flat stupid about these prices. Glad I'm getting 28 -30mpg. :-laf

Bush publishes his income tax return yearly. He's not wealthy by Clinton's standards. The oil companies control the president,not the other way around. Prepare for $0. 50/gallon if Obama gets in. So tell me, was Jimmy Carter lining his pockets in the 70's, when we were in the same Shiite?... . yes it is an Arab play on words, considering they're the real ones to blame! OPEC is to blame, along with the greedy investors who are driving up the cost of oil.
