Why is it you can feel the #1 injector line as it pulsating and the rest of the lines you can not feel anything? Is this normal and Is number 1 line having more pressure to it? I just finished my gauge install and put my finger on the line as it was idling and noticed it.

Thanks Prairie Dog! Truck runs great as I just noticed it while I was working on it and getting ready for a road trip with the fifer.

I don't know why but it's totally normal.

X2, the reason is #1 and # 6 are, they are at the end of the Barrel, These 2 Holes account for most whacked and blown seals,If you want to feel the real spike,Cap the rail and shut the truck off touching 1 or 6 :D All (Bosch) HP pumps ARE NOT constant pressure, in the scheme of things they are really slow.

Do the larger rails reduce this ?

Yes and No. . When you start to drain the rail the pulses get farther apart, if you go form WOT to 0% TP its wham if the rail is being drained even a small % . . increase wear will result, the ball seat area gets deformed real fast then the Back leakage rates increases eventually it= $$$$ ,Injector life can be shorten to 1/2 in some cases or shorter.
