Is #1 (front) injector line supposed to have a clamp on it? It is a 2007 Dodge Cummins, I hear the "ticking noise" I see discussed on here. When checking the clamps I notice that the one on the front has no clamp and when I lay my fingers on it while it is idling it seems to follow the noise. I can feel it pulsing and the other ones dont have that same vibration.

#1 and #6 on my 03 have no clamp. #1 does have a history of making a louder "ticking" noise than the other injector lines. I believe I read on the TDR that it has to do with the end placement of the line into the rail body that causes this, then why not #6 also?

Not sure there is any "fix" to this, but some other member may have a solution.
