Wow

great, I remember those days 100k, then 200k, about a month and there will be one less 12v with 300k for me. Good luck to you guys maybe some day you'll catch up.

Did you stop on the road to just get a picture?

If I took a picture of mine. It would say 229,500.

Still on stock clutch. Still have 5th gear.

It's been awhile since i've seen any 12ver with less than 100,000. So at that rate in year 2013 you'll be at 200k and still have over half the life left in her which will take you to the year 2029 for 400k. Truelly amazing.

I'll probably give up driving before I wear that truck out. We bought it about 2 1/2 years ago with about 76,000 on it because we thought my wife would be changing jobs and we wouldn't be carpooling. Her current employer made her an offer she couldn't refuse, so we were back to just driving 1 vehicle on most days. For those of you that might have met the truck previously, it was John Holmes' wife's truck (Polly's Pickup) from the TDR mag.

Now with baby number one on the way (eta 4/10/05), I'm eyeing the CRD Liberty's as a potential replacement for it. Or maybe I'll just drive the 97 for the next 40 years... :)
