1 Pc Aluminum Drive Shaft NV 5600???

Been doing some research and have found part #521231602AA for the G56 is running about 1. 50" long on the NV5600 is what I have found from the forum and Rich with Dog House Diesel. Is there someone offering the 1 PC drive shaft in the proper length or will you have to get the longer one and have cut to the proper length for the NV5600?

My carrier bearing is going south and I am still running orig u-joints. Just checking my options.

Yes, there is a correct OEM shaft, I posted all the OEM Parts Numbers,I deleted the Post Here at the TDR, I did the work of putting it together and another member Posted the link to Dog house ,which really ****** Me off. I PM the Member to delete the link, He did not So I delete the info. PM me or call I will take your info and send you the correct Part #. Someone else may post the correct Part# also.

Looks like if you want a one piece for the NV5600 you will have to have one built or modified. I had Randy's Driveshaft 713 672 6344 in Houston build me one and will pick it up tomorrow. (5" . 125 wall aluminum) My old two piece AMM had slop where the two piece goes together and the rubber in the carrier bearing was shot and had about 3/8" of slop. The u-joints looked good and tight but I'm sure they were short lived with the vibration I was starting to get from the drive line.



If this will help someone my driveshaft measurements on my 04. 5 4dr long bed 4X4 NV5600 (79" from transfer case tail housing to differential pinion flange,the output shaft sticks out 3/4" past tail housing,71 1/2" u-joint centers on the two outside u-joints).

None of the factory 1 Pc shafts will work with The NV56 the closes is 2" long.

Hey Twest thanks for your help and input really enjoyed the phone call. Picked up my 1 pc this morning and hopefully have it bolted back in tomorrow. Working a double today so tonight is a no go. Thanks again Matt

Yes... I have measure some of them. . The NV56 QC/LB is 79. 5" the closes OEM shaft is 81. 5" I have never checked the SC/LB/SB of course they would be short of the QC/LB/SB 4x4 or MC I have not checked the two wheel drive lengths either.
