2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 1" rear lift/suspension question

installed a 2" leveling kit on the front of the truck and its almost level. . but now the rear rides like a buck board. guess the transfer of weight from the lifted front, collapsed the rear spring packs a bit. my question is: does anyone have a answer to get rid of the spring bounce. . it has a set of 3 month old bilsteins and thought maybe a upgrade to 5100 bilsteins could get rid of it. but i did find a bolt in spring block that will lift the rear 1" and just may transfer enough weight to the front to get rid of. do they make a 6" block for a 2nd gen factory?? mine has 5" blocks in it. . any info helpful. .

I wouldn't think that about of small weight transfer would make much difference to the rear springs on these trucks. HMMM.

thats what i thought... but just enough to turn it into a milkshake. . like driving around with a empty tralier on it. .

the only weight that will transfer when leveling the truck is the fuel that will move a little toward the rear of the tank... maybe 20 pounds.

HOw much air do you have in the rear tires. Try around 42 lbs. SNOKING

You do not want to install any blocks taller than 4". You will get axle wrap and a lot of stress on the u-bolts. I would try a set of the Ride-Rite overload air bags in the rear. You can pump them up a little in order to get your ride height and the bags will ride nice.

Kore leveling

I just installed the kore leveling kit this weekend. Oo. The front shocks were hammered as the truck has 101,xxx miles on it. The new springs and Bliestiens really make the front end ride great. I did notice that now the rear seems really bad. I was thinking about installing new shocks in a couple of weeks for the rear. If that doesn't take care of it I might try the air bags for the rear. I don't think its transfering of weight thats making it right rough, I think it's more because the front is working better that makes it noticeable.

i would think the shocks are letting it bounce try the new shocks bet it goes away.
