Competition DPM Dyno numbers from Scheids

anyone pulling w\ an auto out there , I could use some free advice

I'm running a 12 v auto 275 hp sun coast 1700 rpm stall TC , BD shift kit, BD pressure lock. 33" BFG all terr. 354 gear ratio.



Do I need a mystery switch for 2nd gear lock up? or can I just leave it in "drive" w\ the O\D lockout switch on?

If I use the 2nd gear mystery switch will the transmission shift into 3nd or stay in 2nd ?

what about the down shift at the end of pull??

I'd pull in second gear low range,make 5-10 lbs of boost before you take off,a mystery switch would be a bonus,I lock my converter up right away and unlock when I'm finished.

You might have to go to third then downshift if the track is greasy,good luck.
 
I personally don't like to pull with the mystery switch on. When you unlock it you have a sudden torque multiplication that can break shafts. Then again I have a converter designed for pulling that is set up tighter.
