I'm in the process of putting a 4 WD front axle on my '93 D350. I need the 4 by effect!! Does anyone know which years will interchange on the '93? Also, how are the 350 axles different than 250 axles? Hubs?? I have an ad in the classifieds and will take any leads from this post also. Thanks for any help!!!

You will need a Dana 60 front axle, SHOULD interchange from 1976 to 1993(1976-1980 are FULL time 4X4, but lockouts can be added). 1981 to 1990 Dana 60s use the same big two fisted lockouts(which I prefer) 1991 to 1993 use the newer style lockouts, but that axle is mostly the same. You will need a transfer case out of a 1989 to 1993 W350 with a Cummins. I have already done the 4X2 to 4X4 conversion, and if you need more info post in the NEW Conversions Forum.

Someone corredt me if I'm wrong but...

There are no differences between a W250 and a W350 single rear axle with Cummins power other than the size of the rear brake shoes and the wheel cylinders. The front axles, transfer cases, rear axles, transmissions, frames, etc. should be the same.
