1-ton DWR box value?

Friend of mine took the box off of his 1st gen 1-ton DWR truck. He has the bed, gate, fenders, bumper & all 6 of the stock steel wheels in a package. The box has no rust or dents and hardly any scratches. The tailgate is perfect & the bed is rhino lined. Any input as to what a package like this might be worth?

Well I found a low mileage 92 drw bed perfect shape

tail gate and all stored in a barn for last 11 years

I thought i got a deal at 850



I wont let mine go for less than 1000 .....

My two cents



I bought a fair condition box with good fenders and good tailgate for 200. There will be limited market for anything that isn't super nice but the fenders are six hundred each from the dealer. I would think also that a really nice complete box should be worth a thousand. If you think of putting a truck together from parts, that would be a very small price for that part.

Thanks for the input so far.

I think we are slowly getting closer on the numbers. He started off way high (neither of us really knowing what the stuff was worth on the used market).

I offered him something less then half of his starting price.

He came back with a price about 1/2 way between his & my starting prices.

So I think we will have something figured out soon.

My first thought was $800. 00 to $1200. 00. Looks like I was right in the ballpark.

He is still a little high but he is willing to deal and I can't blame a guy for wanting to get as much as he can for his stuff.
