Out of curiosity, any major components replaced or rebuilt such as transmission, engine, axles?

I have a 103K on my truck now. I have had to rebuild the front-end steering components on my truck. This was done in stages as items wore out. Such as the front brakes were replaced at 72,000 miles when the Front LH U-Joint failed. At 82,000 miles, I replaced the Drag Link after the joint failed and I loss steering. At the same time the Upper & Lower ball joints on the RH and LH side were replaced along with the LH Hub AS with unit BRG and all Tie Rod connections. At 85,000 the A/C failed and the compressor and Accumulator were replaced. I replaced the rear brakes at 99,000 miles.

These are the major unscheduled repairs that I have seen on my truck. The engine and transmission so far have worked flawlessly. I have just followed the maintenance schedule replacing filters and fluids as required.

Hey Motorhead I'm the guy that bought your Free-spin kit awhile back. I actually lost a injector at 160K(aftermarket) melted and a piston. I rebuilt the motor myself went with new bosch injectors,Htt 62/14 turbo added a Fass 150 and a FS-2500 by-pass filter. Since then I've changed injectors every 300K and Transmissions last about 225K. The bigger items aredrivers seat with Airride national seat, 3 AC pumps, 4 Jake pumps, 3 sets of ball joints, brakes every 125K or so, 1 tranfercase and front driveline, I'm on my second Fass at 450K it started making noise they replaced it no questions asked. 2 number 4 injector lines, 2 fan hubs, 1 steering box, 1 TIPM ,3 sets of battery's, the main power wire to the ECM became corroded and caused some headaches, all the usual service stuff...oil and filters every 12 to 15K, transfercase every 25/30K, axles every 25/30K still running the original rearend. Currently uses about 2qts of oil on a 12/15K no blow-by. The last set of injectors I went with BB1's really smoothed it out. I'll buy the same truck when I go to replace it. Current thought on replacement will be after it breaks a Mill....I love my truck

TGVET is doing awesomely! My 2004.5 now turned 278,815 or 22K/yr avg. Just had 50HP squirters installed last Summer.

I have replaced rear pumpkin and replaced 4.10 gears with 3.73. Front ball joints and all wheel rotors and wheel lugs. No engine or transmission repairs. Goodyear 19.5 tires have 75k-80k on them. I regrooved all of them at 60k. They are nine years old and will replace them in May due to our cross country RV trip.

I was looking through my receipts the other day and realized I've put about 33K on mine since 2010! (It seems Dodge screwed up the install of a U-joint in the 1 pc shaft I put in back then).
Almost all our miles are from towing our RV and with only 104K on it now, I see a lot more camping in our future.

383,000 as of today. No longer my 24/7 driver, I now have a 2013 Sprinter 3500 170 for daily work so I'm done with 32k avg. per year on the Ram.

I bought DDP 50HP nozzles for $800.00 plus $400.00 core back in 08 but never installed them and I didn't realize at time of purchase the core deposit until I got my CC stmt. A year later and still not having installed them, I tried to return them but Xtreme D.said, SORRY.. $1,200.00 invested in those damn things thinking, I NEEDED more power when I really didn't and I should have banked the $$ towards new injectors when due to replace. Stupid me.

Still on the OEM injectors and running strong thanks to good fuel filtration and maintenance. I'm going to DRB it soon and check all the parameters for any issues including injector firing and if no issues, I'll most likely install new ones at 400k.

Walter, how much did you pay for the 50HP ? Are they DDP or another ? What gains have you realized ? What deficits if any ?
