:) Just turned 100,000 miles on my DTT auto trans. Works as good today as it did the day it was done. My engine mods were done before I had the trans done so all of the miles were put on with more than stock power.

I now have over 190,000 miles total on the truck and I see no reason to trade up. It does everything I want it too and is also paid for. :D

I am going to DTT on Feb 1-2 for a trans and a few more engine goodies like GSK. I priced a new megacab and quad cab and with all the toys the window price topped $55k. I ordered my 97 with everything and it has been a very good vehicle since I took delivery. Everything is still tight and rattle free, but the trans is starting to do the TC shudder under hard accel and pushing 100k miles.

Is it quiet? No, it's a 12V. Does it ride like a car? No, it's a truck-Duh. The after market made brake/steering issues go away. The Cummins should be broken in in about another 50,000 miles. Was told by owners of gen1s that at 150,000 miles the Cummins really starts running great.

Bottom line is 'have the title' and really like driving it.

Sure am, can't wait. I have been taking it easy to prolong the trans life for a couple of months. The only problem the stock transmission has had is shudder about every 15K miles. Getting it serviced has alway stopped the shudder, this time it reduced it only. No problems shifting just shudders under hard, aka floored, accel.

It's 2000 miles round trip from San Jose but I wanted to go the the 'source'. Have heard lots of good things so figured it will be a short vacation.

Half the fun of the 12V is stopping beside someone at a traffic light and watching windows go up or the driver saying will call you back. Drive a 12V and reduce the number of cel phone users on the hiway. The best is when there is a 12V on each side, stereo surround Cummins 12V. Better than any other music!

115k on my DTT - also all with the HP mods. The rest of my truck will fall apart around my Cummins/DTT setup. Currently garaged right now waiting for new front hub/bearings to arrive.
