This is a 100,000 mile question only...

Looking for feedback on Bombed transmissions with some real miles on them.

How do the bombed transmissions hold up after 100k+ miles?

What you do like about your setup ?

What would you do differently after 100k miles?

My stock Dodge rebuilt trans with a TST shift kit has 86k miles.

It's been doing great but I have the bug and have started to slip the converter and I can feel the bands slipping a little at WOT. during 1-2 and 2-3.

Driven mostly in stop and stop L. A. traffic. ,and of course the beaches of Baja.

I'll probably end up with a tad more power in 6 to 10 months.

I might add larger injectors ,PDR40, 4"exhaust , 3:73 gears with a posi. , and some 35"tires when I save enough $$.

Any suggestions/advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

SFB

I have 110k on my stock trans with just a bit over 500hp to date. :D O you must mean an auto???? Sorry probably bad Humor.

Modified trans.

Over 67,000 miles on my DTT stuff and no problems yet. Very happy with the product. By the way I have a 230/605 TST plate along with 215 injectors. Also a K&N air filter. The bomb stuff was installed before the trans was modified.
