I figured I would be helpful and let you all know that I have found The 2001 Sport Headlights For $100 Dollars. A friend of mine has a aftermarket body parts store that he just got underway and he is willing to sell them to me for $100 and I am willing to pass them on for that price + shipping

Bighammer,

Yes the 99+ Sport lights are better! I think a lot of people like the clear lens look, but what makes them so much better is that they have 2 bulbs per lamp instead of 1. On the standard headlights the bulb/reflector has to do both low and high beam. On the Sports one bulb is used on low beam, but it can be "tuned" for best low beam performance (DOT and customer requirements). On high beam both bulbs are lit, again meaning that one bulb can be "tuned" for high beam performance while the other just adds more light.

If you can, find someone with a 99+ Sport truck and compare. To convert a 94 you will have to slightly cut the inner fender sheetmetal behind the lamps. I don't know how the quality of the aftermarket lamps compare to the stock Dodge lamps.

Rory, the Sport headlights everyone is referring to were introduced in '99 on the Sport models... they are also standard equipment on all successive Sport Rams (i. e. '00, '01, '01. 5, and '02 Sport Rams).
