This truck has had zero troubles. Not a cent has been spent on repairs. Not even a fuse or bulb. The fuel pressure is the same as when new. No sensors have needed cleaning. No codes have ever been generated. Nothing is rusted. (Southern driven) I'm thinking about injectors now that all warranty is gone. I'm as happy as a person could be with this truck.

Congrats! :)

I'm at 202k myself.

Since you have gauges, the next question would be, how much power do you want? If you haven't, try and figure out how much power you want to shoot for.

At first, I thought I'd stop at 300hp, now closing in on 400. :-laf Still want more. :eek:

I commend you on your 100,000 miles

I commend you on your milage, driving habits and luck! But still tring to fix the FACTORY ( S. N. A. F. U's)

The last piece of junk that I will ever buy. :-{}

Well most of my problems were in the first 100k. After that it just run better. I have 238 k and getting stronger.

Good for you - @ 82K, I've just rebuilt a NV5600 for ~ $2,500 and I've replaced 2 lift pumps and converted to a FASS system. The truck has steered like it had 500K miles from day 1. Also replaced a set of batteries and front brakes. Other than that, nothing other than routine maintenance. My run rate is ~$0. 59 without considering depreciation, taxes and insurance. I'm more than likely going back to GM next time.

Do we have to include BOMBing stuff in our cost/mile?

I'm at 101k and am back to my original (back-up LP with 85k on it) fuel pump. That makes 3. Trac-bar to re-center axle because of lift springs. T/C and VB because I didn't find this site soon enough. 3 sets of front pads, first at 53k, second at 95k because one delaminated and ate a rotor in 14 miles (warrented by MFG. ). 2 zenon bulbs, stock are back in. I guess I got lucky too... ... ..... Mike

269k miles on my 96, still on the original automatic transmission. The second 100k miles were probably the worst(bunch of steering/hubs/ball joints, etc), but I'm not sure since I didn't have it very much of the first 100k miles. The last 69k miles have been mostly trouble free, other than a lift pump, track bar, another hub, and few other odds and ends.

The funny thing is I test drove a 95 a few days ago, with 219k miles. He replaced the trans. 30k miles ago, but has only replaced one tie rod because it was bent when he hit a deer. :eek: It drives down the road as straight as my truck and has had a whole lot less money spent tweaking it. :)

Yeah, I'm at 107k, 3 lift pumps, steering sucks(ball joints, tie rod ends, p/s box, dss, profab track bar).

Oh did I mention, I'm still on the original brake pads. Gotta love Jacob!

393,500 and still going strong, I have owned all of the big three and more, best truck I have ever had bar none.
