$100 V-band clamp!

Ebay, where else would someone want to rip you off so bad?



I posted this on the homemade jet engine site I visit on yahoo. They all thought the same thing!



I bought some 5 and 6 inch clamps at Interstate Turbo in Commerce City for $10, who would pay for $100 for a stainless V-band clamp unless it was maybe 2 feet in diameter?

The clamp came off of an Jet Fuel Starter and is MIL spec clamp. It might have cost a 100 bucks but I don't think there is a sucker out there going to buy that clamp for his JFS. As a matter of fact, don't know many people who put JFS's on anything they own except home built aircraft where they convert the JFS's to run a gearbox and then the prop.

People on ebay are clueless sometimes. I got a factory seat bottom for a 96 truck, brand new! for 100 dollars. Dealership wanted like 750 and they are discontinued... .



However, I've been selling some auto parts and i sold 2 Caprice AC delco heater cores for 75 each. You can get a carquest or napa heater core for around the same price with a warranty. Right now ive got a ford crown vic transmission cooler lines up for sale. retail at dealer for 22 bucks and the bid it 10. 00 and shipping is 15. 00... . Does not make any sense to me but hey atleast im making money
