Thanks for the help. I've read posts where guys changed these on the side of the road, so hopefully I can get it right. I ordered the part today.

I was kinda surprised at the suggestion of putting a drop of oil on the threads. I thought it was not normal to oil threads that were relying on friction torquing.

WD40 is great for it, it lightly greases and after a couple days it's entirely evaporated leaving a dry surface.

First time I replaced a WP it took me 45 minutes and that included cleaning and putting away my tools!
You should see what it takes to do a Durapad.. You need to set aside a long day.

I ordered the #4 Mopar injection line. After inspection, the original injector line looks just fine. The bolt that holds the mounting bracket was tight, and the blue plastic that wraps around the line that holds it to the bracket was in good shape. Overall the line was tight and show no signs of ever vibrating or exhibiting any wear. Should I go ahead and replace it with the new one, or just keep the new one in the truck just in case? I really hate to mess with this unless necessary at this time.

You'll likely get both kinds of answers.
I replaced mine because I wanted to do it when it was convenient to me and not during a family trip. I go out of my way to ensure no breakdowns and so far, I haven't had one in 30 years.

You might check the idler pulley, I've had that one bite me before and left me on the side of the highway.
That happened to me once, it was like it grenaded while cruising along at 70mph near Hershey, Pa. 2 lane highway and no shoulder to pull over onto. Saw my temps skyrocket until next exit a few miles ahead where I could pull over.
